On page 26 of Gates and Bailey's Morro Bay's Yesterdays is a picture of our very first post office
The Schneider Building was also post office and store as well as later becoming the Morro Bay Grocery.
This location is on the corner of Morro Bay Boulevard and Main Street looking north.

The next post office just a block east on MB Boulevard
